Some late-night/early morning Lions news: LS Don Muhlbach has re-signed on a 1-year deal.

Muhlbach, who will be 36 when the 2017 season kicks off, has been with the Lions since the 2014 season when he was signed after long snapper Jody Littleton was injured.
Just because he has re-signed does not mean he will be the Lions long snapper in 2017 as he will have to fight to beat out 2016 6th-round pick Jimmy Landes. Landes, who missed last season with a shoulder injury, is probably the favorite to win the job after having a successful surgery.
Terms of the Muhlbach’s new contract have not been released at the time of publish.
