I personally have been advocating for Detroit Lions fans to make a statement by boycotting the team's remaining home games this season.
Well, on Sunday, that is exactly what happened as Ford Field was rather empty as the Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers lined up for the opening kickoff.
Check it out.

Will fans not showing up to the game make a dent in the Ford's pocketbook, of course not. But over time, it could make a dent in their pride.
