If you have been following our posts throughout the day (thank you) you are well aware that the Detroit Lions now hold the No. 3 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
That being said, the goal is to move up to No. 2 and the Lions can do just that by losing to the Green Bay Packers in Week 17, coupled with a Washington Redskins win in Dallas over the Cowboys.
As this is being written, the Cowboys are trailing the Philadelphia Eagles 17-9 with 2:58 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Cowboys have the ball on the Eagles 31-yard line.
If Cowboys can find a way to come back and win, they will clinch the NFC East and they will have nothing to play for in Week 17, hence giving the Redskins a better chance to pull off the upset.
So, if you are not already watching, turn on your television and start rooting for the Cowboys!
