Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia met with media members on Monday following Sunday’s loss to the Denver Broncos and spoke of their preparation for their regular season finale this weekend against division rival Green Bay.
According to Patricia, the Lions will be attacking this game as they have any other game this season, and that it’s going to be another week of trying to put together the best game plan in order to have a chance to win.

“We play for something every game,” he continued. “That’s my mindset – we’re trying to go play to win. Doesn’t matter what the situation is, doesn’t matter what the opponent is playing for, doesn’t matter anything other than we’re trying to go out there and do the best job we can to give ourselves a chance to win.”

“We obviously know we have some doing parts, and we have some things up in the air from the roster and injuries or whatever it may be or different people on the field, but we’re going to attack this game just like we do every other game. We’ll put the best game plan together we can, and put the best week of practice and preparation we can and go out and give ourselves a chance to win.”
“We know Green Bay has a good team and they’re playing at a high level right now, but we have to go out and try and compete with that the best they can.”
