In advance of their Week 4 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, the Detroit Lions were busy hosting a tryout for 12 players on Tuesday.
According to Howard Balzer, the players included at the tryout were LBs Zaire Anderson, Brandon Spikes; TEs Marcus Baugh, Jerome Cunningham, Temarrick Hemingway; LSs Ryan DiSalvo, Jeff Overbaugh, Taybor Pepper; Ks Kai Forbath, Cairo Santos; Ps Jeff Locke, Brad Nortman.

With a win over the Cowboys this coming Sunday, the Lions would move to 2-2 on the season before returning to Ford Field to take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 5.

DL Ricky Jean Francois has message for Detroit Lions’ fans
For those of you who attended the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Detroit Lions and New England Patriots, you certainly had a great time as the Lions dominated the Patriots on their way to a 26-10 victory.
Of course, the main reason for the fun was that the Lions played their most complete game against a good team in a long, long time. The offense was efficient, the defense confused Tom Brady and the Patriots’ offense, and the special teams…well, we are sure they will manage to return a punt sometime in the near future without picking up a penalty.
Though the players on the field make the plays, whether good or bad, Lions defensive lineman Ricky Jean Francois acknowledged the fans who attended the game at Ford Field as part of the reason for the team’s success on Sunday Night Football.
