It is no secret that the Detroit Lions are in the market for another safety and according to reports, they have their eye on a veteran.
According to reports, the Lions hosted former Baltimore Ravens safety, DeShon Elliott on Wednesday.
Elliott, who is about to turn 25, was originally selected by the Ravens in the 6th round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
In three seasons (28 games), Elliott has 109 tackles and one interception.

From Pro Football Focus:
ROTATIONAL SAFETY/SPOT STARTER: Deshon Elliott carried an unenviable task of trying to cover for an injured and thin secondary, but he’s capable enough to fulfill his responsibilities. Playing in the middle of the field or dropping over tight ends, he’s a safety that can fill a hole in the secondary.
Nation, would you like to see the Lions add Elliott to their roster?
