That being said, according to reports, the Lions are set to host Baylor quarterback Jalan McClendon for a tryout at their rookie minicamp.

During his senior season at Baylor (after transferring from North Carolina State), McClendon completed 55 of 91 passes for 715 yards and three touchdowns to go along with three interceptions.
