Detroit Lions’ Injury Update: Ziggy Ansah

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Detroit Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah underwent an MRI on his shoulder that showed he did not suffer a significant injury and he is hopeful he can take the field against the San Francisco 49ers this coming Sunday.

Ansah went down with the injury during the Lions Week 1 loss to the New York Jets. Before leaving, Ansah had played well, including picking up his first sack of the 2018 season.

On Tuesday, Stafford joined The Mitch Albom Show and said he is “good to go” for the Lions Week 2 contest against the 49ers.
