The Detroit Lions may have caught a break with safety Kerby Joseph. After leaving Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns with a knee injury, video has since emerged of Joseph running and cutting on the sidelines.

The Lions initially announced Joseph was QUESTIONABLE to return to the game, but this new footage suggests Joseph is at least testing the knee and could be closer to a return than expected.
At this point, there’s no official word on whether he’ll re-enter the game, but it’s a promising sign for Detroit’s secondary. Joseph had already made a big impact early, recording an interception before his injury, and his presence would be a huge boost if he’s able to get back on the field.
