Detroit Lions land future QB in way-way-way-too-early 2023 NFL Mock Draft

Week 16 of the 2021 NFL regular season is officially in the books and plenty of fans around the league are already looking towards the 2022 NFL Draft. In fact, no matter where you look, 2022 NFL Mock Drafts are already flowing like honey and most do not have the Detroit Lions selecting their QB of the future in the 1st Round.

But what about the 2023 NFL Draft?

Well, if the Lions do not select a QB in the 2022 NFL Draft, they almost certainly will in 2023.

That being said, while surfing the web, I came across a 2023 NFL mock draft and the Lions do select their future signal-caller.

According to Walter Football, the Lions will have the No. 2 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and they will select Ohio State QB, C.J. Stroud.

Nation, we know it is way, WAY too early to be looking ahead to 2023 but you can bet it is something Lions GM Brad Holmes has in the back of his head. Would you be ok with the Lions waiting until 2023 to get their QB and selecting Stroud?

  1. No I’m still waiting for a Ohio State QB do anything worthwhile in the NFL, for that matter I’m still waiting for a Michigan or a Michigan State QB not named Brady to win consistently

  2. I’m still waiting for an Ohio State quarterback to actually win in the NFL heck I’m still waiting for Michigan or Michigan State QB not named Brady to win in the NFL consistently
