Honestly, there is no way on God's green earth that this trade sending Lamar Jackson to the Detroit Lions would ever happen, but since it is being proposed by Pro Football Focus, we figured we would pass it along for discussion. The Lions seem very satisfied with Jared Goff, and to be honest, I cannot see them being very high on Jackson.
What proposed trade would send Lamar Jackson to the Detroit Lions?
On Tuesday, Pro Football Focus released an article that suggests three potential trade proposals that would send Jackson packing.
One of those trade proposals just so happens to include the Lions.
Here is the full trade proposal that would send Jackson to the Lions for a multitude of NFL Draft picks.
- BALTIMORE RAVENS SEND: LAMAR JACKSON
- DETROIT LIONS SEND: 2023 FIRST (SIXTH OVERALL), 2023 FIRST (18TH OVERALL), 2023 SECOND (59TH OVERALL), 2024 FIRST, 2024 THIRD
That's right, folks. Pro Football Focus has struck again with one of the worst trade proposals I have ever seen.
There is no way in hell the Lions are going to give up three first-round picks, a second-round pick, and a third-round picks to the Ravens for Jackson.
What is interesting here is that Goff is not even part of the trade, so the Lions would also have to figure that out because they certainly would not go into the season with both Goff and Jackson on their roster.
Sorry, PFF, but you missed this one in a big way.
