Detroit Lions latest Injury Report features good news and bad news

There’s good news and there’s bad news.

On Thanksgiving Day, the Detroit Lions will host the Houston Texans at Ford Field in a game that lost a lot of its luster following the Lions’ 20-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday.

The Lions have released their most recent injury report and as you can see below, RB D’Andre Swift was upgraded to limited practice as he continues to work through concussion protocol. This means that if Swift is able to go through a contact practice on Wednesday that he will be eligible to play against the Texans on Thursday.

That’s the good news for you.

The bad news is that WR Kenny Golladay was downgraded to “no practice” which means there is not a very good chance that he suits up on Thanksgiving Day.

The other bad news is that Jeff Okudah, Da’Shawn Hand, and Mike Ford are also listed as “not practice” and are in serious jeopardy of missing Thursday’s game.
