On Sunday, during the Detroit Lions 27-23 loss to the Chicago Bears, Lions linebacker Jamie Collins was ejected for headbutting an official.
Though the headbutt was obviously accidental, as Collins was attempting to show the referee what Bears RB David Montgomery was doing, he was ejected from the game and the Lions were penalized.

On Thursday, following practice, Collins spoke to reporters and he said the headbutt was “as mistake” and that “nothing was intentional.” He added that he did not even realize he made contact with the official.
Jamie Collins on ejection: "It was a mistake. Nothing was intentional."
Collins said he didn't know he made contact with the official when it happened.
He said he didn't agree with it and that he wasn't intentionally trying to make contact with it. "It was just a mistake."

Kyle Meinke of MLive is also reporting that Collins said he does not agree with his ejection and that he got fined but plans to appeal.
Nation, do you agree that Collins should have been fined?
