On Wednesday night, the Detroit Lions passed along the sad news that one of their legends, Leonard Thompson had passed away at the age of 69.
Thompson, who played WR/HB for the Lions from 1975-1986 had 277 career receptions for 4,682 yards and 38 total touchdowns.
His 4,682 receiving yards places him at No. 8 on the Lions’ all-time list.
Rest in Peace, Leonard.
