According to the Hoosier Sports Report, the Detroit Lions had an impromptu meeting with the strongest player from the Indiana football team, Wes Martin.

Martin, who played on the offensive line, had a good showing on the bench press at Indiana’s pro day.
In front of representatives from 26 NFL teams, Martin did 38 reps of 225 pounds, backing up his reputation as the strongest player on Indiana’s football team. It also seemed to put him on the radar of at least one organization, with the Detroit Lions conducting an impromptu, post-workout meeting with Martin that lasted more than an hour.
Martin claims that he did 42 reps a while back but that his breathing pattern was off a bit this time around.
The best mark at the NFL Scouting Combine, which Martin was not invited to was 39 by Iosua Opeta of Weber State.
The former Hoosier seems like a sleeper at best but you never can tell.
