According to a report from Adam Schefter, the Detroit Lions have made a notable cut as they begin trimming their roster down to 53 players.
Schefter is reporting that the Lions have released veteran WR Breshad Perriman after he failed to live up to expectations in training camp.
This opens the door for Tom Kennedy to make the team but time will tell if that is the direction the Lions decide to go.
First of many cuts this week is a notable one: Lions have released WR Breshad Perriman, per source.
