The Detroit Lions made an addition to their team ahead of today’s practice.
They officially signed defensive tackle Kevin Wilkins to a contract:
In order to facilitate the move, the team also waived Olive Sagapolu.
The 6’2, 304 lb. Wilkins played college ball at Rutgers, where he amassed 122 tackles, two sacks, and five passes defended in 39 games.
He went undrafted in 2019. He was signed to a three year, $1.755 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, but was subsequently waived. He then spent time with the New York Giants taxi squad, but was then waived again in April.
