The hope was that veteran CB Desmond Trufant would be healthy enough to give it a go on Sunday for the Detroit Lions, but that will not be the case.

On Saturday, the Lions announced that Trufant has been downgraded to OUT for tomorrow’s game vs. the Arizona Cardinals.
With Trufant unavailable, we can expect to see a lot of Lions rookie CB Jeff Okudah matched up against Cardinals All-World WR, DeAndre Hopkins.
Okudah’s welcome to the NFL tour has not gone well so far (destroyed by Davante Adams in Week 2) and it won’t get any easier against the Cardinals.
