Marvin Jones was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 5th Round of the 2012 NFL Draft. The speedy receiver spent the next three seasons playing for the Bengals, catching 134 passes for 1,729 yards and 15 touchdowns in 43 total games before signing with the Detroit Lions.

Since coming to the Lions, Jones has taken his game to a new level, catching 109 passes for 1,900 yards and 12 touchdowns in just 29 games. Unless something crazy happens, he will eclipse the 1,000 yard mark for the first time in his career this season and his eight touchdowns so far in 2017 have him tied for 6th in the NFL.

This coming Sunday, Jones will return to his old stomping grounds as he and his Lions teammates will take on the Bengals in a must-win game for Detroit.

On Wednesday, Jones was asked about whether or not the upcoming game against his former team has any special significance to him. His response was, well, interesting to say the least.

It sure sounds like Jones will be more than ready to prove a point to his former team on Sunday afternoon. If he does, the Lions will have a great chance of walking away with a victory and moving to 9-6 on the season.
