Things did not go the Detroit Lions way on Sunday and when all was said and done they lost 14-13 to the Buffalo Bills to drop to 5-9 on the season. With the loss, the Lions have officially been eliminated from playoff contention and you can imagine those in the organization are not too thrilled.

One of those who are not very happy about the loss is Lions head coach, Matt Patricia.
Following the game, Patricia was an interview for WJR and he was asked how he would address the team now that they no longer have a chance to make the playoffs. The rookie head coach, who is known for not mincing words with his players, let one slip on live radio.
“Look, for us, it’s not different. We go out, we compete, we try to win and we try to fucking get better every week,” Patricia said.
Usually, there is a seven-second delay on the radio, but that was not the case as the f-bomb was broadcast and heard live.
It's been a rough year for Patricia, both on and off the field, we will certainly give him a mulligan on this slip-up.

WATCH: Peyton Manning calls out weakness of Detroit Lions’ QB Matthew Stafford
Whether you are a Matthew Stafford supporter or a Matthew Stafford hater, you probably agree that he is not having a very good season up to this point with the Detroit Lions.
Sure, the offensive line has been banged up, his receivers do not get separation, and Jim Bob Cooter could not play call his way out of a paper bag, but Stafford has also been part of the problem.
In his most recent analysis video, former 14-time Pro Bowl quarterback Peyton Manning pointed out one of Stafford’s biggest weaknesses, staring down his receivers rather than looking in other directions first.
