Detroit Lions move up in NFL Draft order following loss to Vikings

The Detroit Lions may have fallen on their (insert word) against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon but that on the bright side, they did move up in the 2021 NFL Draft order!

That’s right “Tank for Trevor” fans, if the 2021 NFL Draft was held today, the 3-5 Lions would have the No. 12 overall pick.

Now, if that does not get you excited, what I am going to tell you next almost certainly will.

Despite sitting at No. 12 in the order, the Lions are just one game behind the Washington Football Team for the No. 5 overall pick. And guess what? The Lions play Washington next Sunday!

Now, before you get too excited, the Lions have some work to do if they want to continue to move up in the draft order as there is currently a log jam of teams (10 teams to be exact) that have a record between 2-6 and 3-5.
