What a game!
The Detroit Lions nearly shocked the NFL world by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in one of the crazier games you will ever see. When all was said and done, the Chiefs used a late fourth-quarter comeback led by Patrick Mahomes to beat the Lions 34-30 at Ford Field.

One of the biggest reasons the Lions were nearly able to pull off the upset is because of their ability to use their fists. On at least four separate occasions, Lions defenders were able to either punch out the ball to cause a fumble or break up a pass, including one by Justin Coleman which saved a sure touchdown.

In the contest, Stafford completed 21 of 33 passes for 291 yards and three touchdowns, two of which game to Kenny Golladay. Kerryon Johnson led the Lions in rushing with 26 carries for 125 yards.
The Lions fall to 2-1-1 as they head into their bye week.
Up next for the Lions will be the Green Bay Packers in Week 6 on Monday Night Football.
