On Friday night, the Detroit Lions selected LB Jahlani Tavai in the 2nd Round of the 2019 NFL Draft, baffling (and upsetting) plenty of Lions fans.

According to reports, Tavai was arrested in June following an altercation at a nightclub in Honolulu.
From HawaiiNewsNow.com:
Linebacker Jahlani Tavai and running back Kaiwi Chung were arrested for third degree assault after they were involved in an altercation with a man who allegedly pushed a woman to the ground, according to law enforcement sources.
It happened at The District nightclub on Kona Street.
Tavai and Chung are believed to have been in the vicinity of the initial incident and subsequently went after the man. They were later arrested for the misdemeanor crime.
Tavai may be slow and have a bad shoulder but the fact that he stood up for a woman who was shoved to the ground makes me a fan of him as a person!
