New York Jets (1-0-0) @ Detroit Lions (1-0-0)

In week two of the NFL preseason, the Detroit Lions (1-0-0) host the New York Jets (1-0-0) at Ford Field in a cross-conference showdown.

Both teams successfully defeated their opponents in week one of the preseason. The Lions had little trouble securing a 24-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, [but lost linebacker Brandon Copeland (torn pectoral) and defensive end Kerry Hyder Jr. (torn Achilles) for the season. The team has since then waived Copeland among a slew of roster moves.]

[The Jets meanwhile won a 7-3 barn-burner last week against the Tennessee Titans.]
