Likely the biggest game of the year for both the Lions and the New York Giants, the Lions will head into battle without running back Theo Riddick for the second straight week as he nurses a wrist injury. Notably joining Riddick on the inactive list are center Travis Swanson (concussion), and newly signed defensive end Corey Lemonier. Here is the full list of inactive players for Detroit today:

The good news for Detroit is that every player who was listed as “questionable” on the injury report this week is suiting up today. Those players include cornerback Darius Slay, linebacker DeAndre Levy, defensive end Ziggy Ansah, running back Zach Zenner, and tight end Eric Ebron.
With Riddick not suiting up, expect to see rookie Dwayne Washington and Zenner handle most of the duty in the backfield. Joique Bell is listed as active today, but is not expected to play a big role in today’s game. Washington finished last week’s victory over the Chicago Bears with a career high 64 rushing yards.
Swanson will miss his second consecutive game with a concussion, opening the door for rookie Graham Glasgow again at center, with Laken Tomlinson taking Glasgow’s spot at left guard.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford‘s availability for today has never been questioned, despite being diagnosed with torn ligaments and a dislocated finger in his throwing hand. He took every snap at practice this week, and will take the field today with a specialized glove for his throwing hand.
The temperature at the stadium is currently hovering around 50 degrees, with a bit of rain in the vicinity of MetLife Stadium. Considering the injury to Detroit’s offensive heartbeat, the forecast for today’s game couldn’t have been much better for Detroit considering that it’s getting late in the month of December. Expect to see some rain on and off throughout today’s contest, but a complete washout is not expected.
