The Detroit Lions were a bit light in terms of wide receiver depth in 2016 and they are about to become even lighter as Anquan Boldin and Andre Roberts are set to hit free agency on Thursday.
There is not doubt about it, Lions GM Bob Quinn will have to address the wide receiver position this offseason. The only question is whether he will try to bring in some veteran presence via free agency of if he will elect to go the route of the draft.
According to Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times, one player the Lions are interested in is Andre Holmes of the Oakland Raiders.
#Bears are looking deep at free-agent WRs. See Andre Holmes a local kid with some upside. They join 49ers, Raiders, Lions as interested.

Holmes, who was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in 2011 by the Minnesota Vikings, will turn 29 prior to the start of the 2017 season. In the past two seasons, Holmes caught only 28 total passes in 32 games with the Oakland Raiders.
