The Detroit Lions were without nine players during Thursday’s OTA practice in Allen Park, according to Jeremy Reisman of Pride of Detroit.
The players not in attendance were:
- QB Teddy Bridgewater
- TE Tyler Conklin
- G Ben Bartch
- CB Terrion Arnold
- CB Ennis Rakestraw
- CB Rock Ya-Sin
- S Brian Branch
- S Kerby Joseph
*Note: Rookie WR Kendrick Law is not included on this list because we already know he is out for the season
Earlier in the day, head coach Dan Campbell revealed that Rakestraw and Ya-Sin were dealing with an illness circulating through the facility. Branch and Joseph continue to recover from injuries, while the reasons for the other absences are not immediately known.
With OTAs remaining voluntary, the Lions are expected to continue prioritizing player health as they prepare for training camp.
