It has been a rough start to the season for the Detroit Lions and part of the problem, many are saying a “big” part of the problem, is quarterback, Jared Goff.
Goff has struggled during his first six games with the Lions and as the weeks go on, more and more people are calling for him to be benched.
Now, even Lions writer Tim Twentyman is criticizing Goff.
“There's a lot Hockenson is looking at in his game to see where he can help make this offense more productive. The other part of that is Goff making sure Hockenson is getting the football when he is open, which hasn't always been the case.”
Personally, this is refreshing to see as team writers generally do not criticize the players on the team they write for.
