Though the decision was reportedly made on Friday, the Detroit Lions made it official that they have fired both Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn.
Just moments ago, Lions’ owner Sheila Ford Hamp spoke to the media and talked about the decision to make the move, noting that the last two games had a lot to do with the final decision.

Hamp on making this move after the losses to Carolina and Houston: "Both of those games were extremely disappointing. It seemed like the path going forward wasn’t what we wanted it to be."
