With training camp just about set to get underway, the Detroit Lions have announced that they have placed three players on the PUP list (physically unable to perform).

Tight end Brandon Pettigrew (knee), wide receiver Corey Fuller (foot), and tackle Corey Robinson will all be on the sidelines when the Lions take the field for their first training camp practice on July 29th.
Pettigrew, who tore his ACL in December, is still recovering from the injury and there is a chance that he could miss part of the regular season. If Pettigrew has to go on the regular season PUP list, he will be forced to sit out the first six games before making a return. This move does not come as a surprise as Lions GM Bob Quinn said in June that Pettigrew would not be ready for camp.
