The Detroit Lions could soon be getting some reinforcements. Four players currently on injured reserve or the physically unable to perform (PUP) list will be eligible to return in Week 5, when the Lions travel to face the Cincinnati Bengals.

Who’s Eligible to Return
Here are the players who can be activated as early as Week 5:
- Miles Frazier (G, knee – Reserve/PUP)
- Josh Paschal (DE – Reserve/NFI)
- Alim McNeill (DT, ACL – Reserve/PUP)
- Malcolm Rodriguez (LB – Reserve/PUP)
What It Means for the Lions
It’s important to note that eligibility doesn’t guarantee an immediate return to the field. Once eligible, the Lions can start a 21-day practice window for each player before deciding whether to activate them or keep them sidelined.
That decision will depend on how each player responds in practice and how comfortable the coaching staff feels with their progress. Still, the possibility of adding depth across the defensive line, linebacker group, and offensive line could be a major boost for Detroit as they push deeper into the season.

Other Players Still Waiting
Tight end Shane Zylstra (ankle) and defensive end Marcus Davenport (pectoral) are both eligible to return in Week 7, while safety Daniel Thomas (forearm surgery) won’t be eligible until Week 8.
