On Sunday, the Detroit Lions will look to bounce back from an embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears when they travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers.

Each week, NFL teams can designate four practice squad players that are protected from other teams poaching them.

In advance of their Week 2 matchup vs. the Green Bay Packers, the Lions have decided to protect QB David Blough, TE Isaac Nauta, CB Dee Virgin, and RB Kerrith Whyte.

With CB Justin Coleman already on Injured-Reserve and Desmond Trufant and Jeff Okudah also nursing hamstring injuries, expect for the Lions to sign a cornerback in the coming days.
