Earlier in the week, news broke that Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff had tested positive for COVID-19, which put his chances of playing on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons in jeopardy.
Well, Goff’s chances of suiting up for the Lions on Sunday just got slimmer.
On Friday, Lions head coach Dan Campbell spoke to reporters and he said that Goff did not clear protocols this morning and that his chances of playing against the Falcons is highly unlikely.
If Goff does not play, Tim Boyle will make his second career start.
