UPDATE:
Tim Boyle had the following to say about the interception he threw on the Detroit Lions final offensive play of the game.
“For it to end like that, it’s heartbreaking,” Boyle said. “It really is.”
Tim Boyle says things just sort of sped up on him at the end. Last throw was a man-zone read — he thought it was zone, but the Falcons were in man. Reynolds and St. Brown were the reads on the other side.

FROM EARLIER:
There are bad interceptions and there are untimely interceptions.
Then there are bad interceptions that are also untimely interceptions and that is exactly what happened to Detroit Lions QB Tim Boyle on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
With time running down in the fourth quarter and the Lions sitting on the Falcons 9 yard line and trailing by just four points, Boyle stared down his receiver before throwing one of the worst interceptions you will ever see.
Falcons win, 20-16.
