The Detroit Lions walked out of State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ this afternoon with their first win of 2020 under their belts, and their first victory since October of 2019.

The victory was in large part thanks to Detroit kicker Matt Prater, who nailed the game-winning field goal as time expired, giving his team the 26-23 win.
Prater accounted for 14 points on the afternoon, going a perfect 4-4.
Afterwards, quarterback Matthew Stafford had nothing but good things to say about Prater, calling the veteran “clutch”:
“He’s as clutch as they get,” Stafford said. “I’ve been around him long enough to know that he loves that moment. That moment has Matt Prater written all over it.”
Prater has made a career of coming up big when it matters most, and he came through for Detroit once again this afternoon.
