In just over two hours, the Detroit Lions will host their annual Thanksgiving Day game when they take on the Houston Texans at Ford Field.
Thanksgiving is about being thankful for what we have but it is also about giving to those in need.
That is exactly what Lions’ running back Adrian Peterson and his family are doing as they are donating 100,000 meals to Gleaners.
In honor of this, Peterson will be wearing a sweet pair of custom-made cleats which features a message to help raise awareness of the food insecurity crisis in America.
