Detroit Lions Receiver Moves: Reese Wiggins Claimed; Naaman Roosevelt Released

The Detroit Lions claimed wide receiver Reese Wiggins off waivers from the New England Patriots, and they released wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt, quite a busy week for Detroit. Wiggins will join the plethora of wide receivers in Detroit competing for a roster spot. Patrick Edwards, Corey Fuller, Andrew Peacock and Cody Wilson are all trying to at least make it to the practice squad.

Reese Wiggins, in case you haven’t checked him out yet; went undrafted from East Carolina University and spent a couple months on the New England Patriots roster. The 5’11”, 193 pound receiver caught a total of 80 passes for 1,012 yards and 8 touchdowns during his collegiate career.
