On Sunday, the Detroit Lions accomplished their first roster goal of getting down to 80 players as they have announced they are releasing 6 players.
The players being released by the Lions are the following:

DB Michael Jackson
WR Chris Lacy
LB Christian Sam
DE Jonathan Wynn

Detroit Lions training camp 2020 is officially underway! Well, at least the COVID-19 testing of the camp is underway as seven Lions players have already been added to the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
That being said, the hope is that all seven of those players (five who I think will make the 53-man roster) will go through the return protocol with no problems in time to get in some work before the regular season begins.
Though the Lions have not held a single padded practice, I thought it would be fun to take a premature look at what I think the 53-man roster will look like when camp breaks.
