The 2019 regular season has been a complete bust for the Detroit Lions as they currently sit at 3-9-1 with just three games remaining.
When the season comes to a conclusion, whoever is the Lions GM will have some important decisions to make.

Three of those decisions will revolve around whether or not the Lions attempt to rid themselves of three of their top players from 2019.
Those players are Taylor Decker, Marvin Jones Jr., and Darius Slay.
Decker, who has actually played very well for most of the season (75.5 grade from Pro Football Focus), will get nearly a $7 million raise (up to a $10.35 million cap hit in 2020) if he is on the Lions decide to pick up his fifth-year option. Though Decker has been better than many expected at LT in 2019, the Lions may decide to let him walk.

As far as Marvin Jones Jr. goes, he has been one of the most productive players for the Lions in 2019 and it is hard to imagine the Lions offense without him, though we will get that opportunity as Jones Jr. has been placed on IR for the remainder of the season. At 30 years old (when the 2020 season begins) Jones Jr., who has ended the last two seasons on IR, could become a trade chip for the Lions in the offseason.
Now we come to Darius Slay. You can bet your bottom dollar that Slay will demand an extension this coming offseason and if he does not get it, I would assume he holds out until he does. That being said, I would be very surprised if the Lions do not at least try to trade Slay in the offseason rather than giving him the contract he wants.
Nation, which of these three players is most likely gone in 2020? Which is most likely to return?
