Detroit Lions rookie RB D’Andre Swift experienced both an amazing high and a devastating low in his first National Football League contest.

He hauled in his first career touchdown in the game’s first half, but also dropped what would have been the game-winning touchdown pass in the final moments of the afternoon.
Naturally, he wasn’t in the greatest of moods following the conclusion of Week 1. However, his coaches and teammates rallied behind him in a tremendous display of class and comradery.
As a matter of fact, it wasn’t just his teammates who supported him. Swift explained today that just about everyone he knows did the same:
He’s not going to let that dropped pass define him, and knows he must concentrate better moving forward:
“I’ve just got to finish better and I will,” he said.
He won’t have to wait long, as the Lions are currently preparing to face another divisional opponent in the Green Bay Packers this Sunday at Lambeau Field.
