When the Detroit Lions selected LB Jahlani Tavai in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the majority of Lions fans were not too thrilled and they bashed Bob Quinn on social media.

Ever since the moment his name was called, Tavai has had to read and listen to constant criticism about how the Lions reached with their second round pick.
On Tuesday, Tavai was asked about how his is dealing with the haters and his response was absolutely perfect.
Jahlani Tavai said he’s not worried about outside criticism. As his mom told him after draft, “Lions don’t listen to the opinions of goats.”

According to Tavai, those were the words spoken by his mother following the draft.
It sounds like Tavai’s mother is a pretty smart lady. (Or I should say, a pretty smart lioness)
