According to a report from Jim Nagy, the Detroit Lions sent Chris Spielman to North Carolina, where he will scout one of the top QB prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Nagy is reporting that Spielman is at the North Carolina pro-day, where he will watch a throwing session/workout with QB Sam Howell.
Heading into the 2021 season, some projected that Howell would be a top 5 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft but he slowly dropped down most boards and most believe he will be a Day 2 pick.
