Detroit Lions sign former Green Bay WR Jared Abbrederis

The 2016 season may have come to an abrupt end for the Detroit Lions on Saturday night, but there is no time to live in the past. On Monday, former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jared Abbrederis broke the news himself via Twitter that he is joining the Lions.

Abbrederis, who was originally selected by the Packers in the 5th round of the 2014 NFL Draft, has played in 15 games since entering the league, including five games in 2016. In that time, he has a total of 10 receptions for 119 yards and zero touchdowns.
