Mock drafts, mock drafts, and more mock drafts!
You have seen a thousand and you will likely see a thousand more before the 2020 NFL Draft kicks off.

In the latest mock draft published by Drafttek.com, the Detroit Lions remain at No. 3 in the first round and select CB Jeffrey Okudah out of Ohio State. That pick would be no surprise whatsoever, and though I would prefer they trade down, Okudah is a solid consolation prize.
But what is interesting is that Drafttek.com has the Lions grabbing QB Jordan Love in the second round.
Here is what Lions analyst Doug Hyde said about the selection.
For the first time ever, I’m proud to announce, we have finally been able to mock Jordan Love to Detroit! What can I say, I “love” this selection here in the 2nd Round. After an impressive Combine performance, many sources are now hyping up Love to move his way into the first round. For now, though, we Lions folk can dream.
I would still think a Love-Lions pairing could work if Detroit is able to move down from #3 and acquire one of Miami’s late first-round picks, and boy, oh boy, would it be a match made in heaven. After the many rumors floating around about Detroit shopping Matthew Stafford, Love would fit the exact mold the Lions would look for in a backup QB. His potential is sky-high, he has a rocket arm, is mobile, and many are even labeling him as “Patrick Mahomes-esque”. Now, I won’t go that far, but we can all agree that the Lions should consider drafting Love if he’s availabe here. It’s an unfortuante truth that Stafford’s time in Detroit, maybe even his career, is nearing its close. Taking Love and grooming him would be a selection that would pay quite the dividend down the road.

I really like Jordan Love’s game but do I think he will be available when the Lions are on the clock in Round 2?
Nope.
