Detroit Lions having ‘strong’ Sunday despite not playing

After losing to the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day, the Detroit Lions are now 3-8-1 and they are officially eliminated from playoff contention.

Because of that, most Lions fans have now shifted their attention to the offseason and specifically the 2020 NFL Draft.

Heading into Sunday’s games, the Lions held the No. 7 pick in the draft and though that is still the case through the 1 p.m. games, it has been a good day thanks to both the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins winning to move to 3-9.

As we speak, the Lions are 1/2 game out of the No. 3 pick!

Now we root for the Denver Broncos (currently leading 14-0) to take care of business against the Los Angeles Chargers.
