Some Lions' fans loved the pick, some hated it, and some are taking the wait and see approach.
But what about fantasy football? Should Lions' fans select Hockenson in their FFB drafts this coming season?
Well, according to Pro Football Focus, fantasy football players should pump the brakes on the Lions' newest rookie tight end.
Hockenson was the third offensive player selected in the draft yet PFF is already disrespecting him by leaving him out of their Top 10 Dynasty Rookie Rankings.
So, where does Hockenson rank, according to PFF?
You have to go all the way down to No. 14 to find him on the list.
Here is PFF's rationale for ranking Hockenson so low.
14. T.J. Hockenson, TE1, DET — Don’t overvalue rookie tight ends. Hockenson has a long-term elite ceiling, but it will almost certainly take him some time to get there.
At least they have him as TE1!!!
