Detroit Lions team president Rod Wood is asked about coaching or GM change

2019 has not exactly gone how the Detroit Lions or their fans had hoped.

After starting out 2-0-1, the Lions have now lost 7 of 8 and their hopes of making the NFL Playoffs have all but been destroyed. (Yes, it is still mathematically possible they get in)

As the losses have piled up, talk about whether or not the Lions will fire GM Bob Quinn and/or head coach Matt Patricia has grown louder and louder.

On Thursday, prior to the Lions Thanksgiving Day matchup vs. the Chicago Bears, Bill Shea of The Athletic asked Lions team president Rod Wood if a coaching or GM change could come if Detroit loses today, if it could happen after the season, if it has even been discussed.

Wood, not surprisingly, declined to comment.

Wood and the Lions upper management have become very good at dodging any important questions about the team.
