Detroit Lions Thanksgiving game draws millions of viewers

The Detroit Lions annual Thanksgiving game is a traditional part of the viewership of metro-Detroit audiences, and as Thursday once again proved, the national television audience as well.

Their game yesterday against the Chicago Bears drew millions of viewers in the US – 26.9 million to be exact.

Of course, they got to watch third-string QB David Blough launch a 75-yard touchdown pass for his first NFL reception – but also got to once again watch the Lions lose.

Catch-22, eh?
