Detroit Lions trade OL Corey Robinson to Carolina Panthers


By 4 p.m. on Saturday, the Detroit Lions must have their roster cut down to 53. The team helped that cause this morning by trading offensive lineman Corey Robinson to the Carolina Panthers.

In return, the Lions will receive an undisclosed draft pick.

“Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have traded T Corey Robinson to the Carolina Panthers for a future undisclosed draft pick.

Selected by the Lions in the seventh round (240th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft out of South Carolina, Robinson appeared in 23 games (eight starts) in three seasons for Detroit.”
