The Detroit Lions made a statement on Monday night, marching into Baltimore and knocking off the Ravens 38-30 in one of the most impressive wins of the Dan Campbell era.
But the fun didn’t stop on the field. Before kickoff, the entire ESPN Monday Night Countdown crew picked the Ravens to beat Detroit. Every single one of them.
Fast forward a few hours, and the Lions had the last laugh. The team’s official X account posted a simple message: “B’More gritty” — a playful jab at the analysts who doubted them. The post quickly went viral, with fans celebrating both the victory and the team’s confidence in trolling the national media.

The pregame show was so obviously slanted toward the ravens. Enough to make me wonder if the media is mad at the lions and this is the way they demonstrate that feeling. So glad the Lions responded and in such an awesome way. I appreciated Troy acknowledging the moment he realized the Lions do Roar and I felt he was happy about it. It was a beautiful game!

The whole pre-game and game the announcers were slurping up the Ravens.
They still get no respect even now. I tuned in to the pre-game and saw Ravens, Ravens, Ravens. They seemed to disregard in every way.

I was especially surprised by Peyton and Eli. I put them on as the game was over. They looked like they were at a funeral. Seems like they should try to be impartial but no. Too bad, boys, so sad.
